Hillary Clinton seems like the better candidate in my opinion. I feel like most of the goals she sets for herself as president are more realistic. On the other hand, Donald Trump doesn't take the part as serious. His idea of building a wall could be catastrophic considering how foreigners come to America for a better life. They also bring in diversity and skill, therefore, I do not agree with the idea. Overall, the presidential race is extremely interesting. If I could vote, I would vote for Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump is good at entertaining but I really don't think he is the right candidate. He'll say all the right things that people may want to hear but he doesn't talk about the strategy of how to accomplish them. For example: He said "Make America great again!", he talks about building a wall but never focuses in on how to make America great again. There is a reason why I'll vote for Hilary Clinton if I was old enough. Because she has experience as the first lady and the secretary of the state. I believe we need to focus on what this country truly needs and identify which of the candidates is the most appropriate to solve the issue. This being said, both candidates have their strengths and weaknesses. For instance, we have seen the persistency in which Hillary Clinton has battled her way this far and that comes to demonstrate that she is determined to get things done and will make her plans become reality if only given the opportunity. She does have plenty of realistic plans and seems to be the perfect candidate to solve US' human right issues. Donald Trump on the other hand, has less realistic plans as we all know, but may be just the right one to improve things in the US economy such as our great debt. He has had first hand experience with bankruptcy, 5 times to be exact, and has been capable of coming out of that situation. Now, his idea of removing all immigrants off the surface of the US I'd say is just a way to get publicity for even he has immigrants working for him and that wouldn't quite benefit him either. So, depending on what you believe should be resolved first will be whom you would vote for.

I don't really like both of the candidates, but if I had to choose I'd choose Hillary. I don't like Trump because to me he seems real racist. He's trying to keep all the hispanics and foreign people by building a wall around the border of the usa. One reason I don't like Hillary is because i heard she's trying to make school years longer. I don't know if that's true, but I don't like that at all. Although if i had to choose I'd choose Hillary over Trump.

Amber Chavez 1B In my eyes, both candidates are a lost cause. Though Hilary is of course the better option. Not only is she not trump, but she has a background in politics. She's also a democrat, which gives her a little bit of a boost. Her policies are mostly aligned with what I think should be done. Trump, on the other hand, isn't qualified for a presidential job. He's a great entertainer but I don't believe he could actually rule a country. The good thing is that no matter the winner, a president cannot do all that much, and follow through with all that they say. So in the case that trump some how wins, there isn't much he can do to support all the claims he has made.
I would not vote for either of these candidates, because both of them have a lot of flaws in what they stand for and also what they say to the American people. First with Hillary, she has been on the news for not only her run to be president, but also being investigated by the FBI for not turning in emails and she tried to cover that up. Now with Donald Trump, most people don't like him only because what comes out of his mouth. I believe that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to run for president. Anyone has the potential if the are just aware of their surrounding. Hillary I believe has a better chance at succeeding in office than Trump does. Trump is smart in the marketing industry you have to say but I just do not feel like he has what it takes to "make america great again." I think making america better starts at home. It starts in our communities. Rather than starting on a global scale, it should start on a more local scale. discussing about these candidates is not my major for I really am not very interest in these politicians but I suppose that we can say that Donald Trump has some ideas that can really help this country. But, he also has some ideas that discriminate and not only none American citizens, but also African-American. As far as I can get in discussing about Hillary Clinton we can that she is trying to aim for a position greater than she can handle, not only that she actually did some stuff like ignoring the messages from an embassy in far east, later on leading to an attack. So in my basic opinion this years elections aren't good and many people (if I had to guess) about a 45%-55% if not more will avoid voting .

To start off, Clinton has very much experience when it comes to politics because of her husband being president. She's very smart and positive in her speeches and is really trying to change America. Hillary Clinton, however, is not trustworthy. She is also too trusting of other countries. She doesn't take matters seriously. Hillary wants to ban all firearm ownership in the U.S. which I think is ridiculous. First of all because it goes against our right to bear arms, and second the fact that she thinks she will get away with that proves her ignorance. Trump, on the other hand, promotes firearm ownership among the citizens. The safest country in the world is Sweden. The reason being, they require every citizen to carry a permitted firearm with them at all times (in public, of course). However, the U.S. is much larger than Sweden so that method is unrealistic, but the more the better. Although Trump has some good reasoning, his idea to build a wall between Mexico and the U.S is pretty ridiculous, but he has a good point. Immigration laws should be more heavily enforced. Hillary Clinton wants to spend less money on the military and instead use it to help other countries, but spending more money on the military is because of other countries, including the ones we help. Although I consider myself a republican I do believe that abortion should be a choice. I also believe that welfare should be a choice. I think that Obama requiring welfare is pretty ridiculous also. Which is another reason why Trump would make a better president. Most people think he's racist, but he's not. He's just aggressive; and in today's society aggressive is necessary.

ReplyDeleteFirst off, I've got to say taking on the challenge to becoming a president of the US requires lots of determination, courage, knowledge, and strategy; and, if these two candidates have made it this far it must be for a reason. I believe we need to focus on what this country truly needs and identify which of the candidates is the most appropriate to solve the issue. This being said, both candidates have their strengths and weaknesses. For instance, we have seen the persistency in which Hillary Clinton has battled her way this far and that comes to demonstrate that she is determined to get things done and will make her plans become reality if only given the opportunity. She does have plenty of realistic plans and seems to be the perfect candidate to solve US' human right issues. Donald Trump on the other hand, has less realistic plans as we all know, but may be just the right one to improve things in the US economy such as our great debt. He has had first hand experience with bankruptcy, 5 times to be exact, and has been capable of coming out of that situation. Now, his idea of removing all immigrants off the surface of the US I'd say is just a way to get publicity for even he has immigrants working for him and that wouldn't quite benefit him either. So, depending on what you believe should be resolved first will be whom you would vote for.

ReplyDeleteIn my eyes, both candidates are a lost cause. Though Hilary is of course the better option. Not only is she not trump, but she has a background in politics. She's also a democrat, which gives her a little bit of a boost. Her policies are mostly aligned with what I think should be done. Trump, on the other hand, isn't qualified for a presidential job. He's a great entertainer but I don't believe he could actually rule a country. The good thing is that no matter the winner, a president cannot do all that much, and follow through with all that they say. So in the case that trump some how wins, there isn't much he can do to support all the claims he has made.

First with Hillary, she has been on the news for not only her run to be president, but also being investigated by the FBI for not turning in emails and she tried to cover that up. Now with Donald Trump, most people don't like him only because what comes out of his mouth. He usually doesn't really care what others might feel towards him, but I think that's why their are some people out their that like trump, but not only because of what he stands for, also how he will say what he has to say and is always telling the truth. ReplyDeleteI believe that both candidates are unfit for the role as president but Hillary Clinton has the most sensible mind for president than Donald Trump. Hillary knows what's she's doing even if its the wrong thing, when Bill Clinton was in power the only real problem was the sex scandal but other than that he was a fine president. She shouldn't be blamed for her husbands mistakes if that's why most of the people aren't voting Hillary. On the other hand I believe Donald Trump is the worst thing you could ever do to our country, "Make America Great Again?" Please. You can't even get your wife to make her own speech. I honestly think that Donald Trump is the opposite of what a president should be. He acts like a teenager and not like an adult so how could we see him as one when all he does is fire back at other candidates instead of being smart and making new plans for America like Hillary. They both seem like they wouldn't be a good president but if America honestly lets Donald Trump be president, you might as well make Miley Cyrus president while you're at it. Hillary is obviously the better choice for president because she would know what she's doing and she wouldn't bring America down. She might be famous by her husband but now she's rising up to the top and America should give her a chance instead of judging her based off her husband even though he didn't do anything wrong in my opinion. It was never proven so we shouldn't race to conclusions. Give Hillary a chance, Donald Trump won't make America great again, he'll make it worse than when Herbert Hoover was president.

ReplyDeleteI believe that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to run for president. Anyone has the potential if the are just aware of their surrounding. Hillary I believe has a better chance at succeeding in office than Trump does. Trump is smart in the marketing industry you have to say but I just do not feel like he has what it takes to "make america great again." I think making america better starts at home. It starts in our communities. Rather than starting on a global scale, it should start on a more local scale. Trump is very successful but to be president I think it would just make his head bigger than what it already is but also unstable for our economy and who knows having a woman president might just be what this country needs.

ReplyDeletediscussing about these candidates is not my major for I really am not very interest in these politicians but I suppose that we can say that Donald Trump has some ideas that can really help this country. But, he also has some ideas that discriminate and not only none American citizens, but also African-American. As far as I can get in discussing about Hillary Clinton we can that she is trying to aim for a position greater than she can handle, not only that she actually did some stuff like ignoring the messages from an embassy in far east, later on leading to an attack. So in my basic opinion this years elections aren't good and many people (if I had to guess) about a 45%-55% if not more will avoid voting .
I am very sorry to not have done this in the time limit but I thought I had this website at home written but it happens that I didn't and when I got here I immediately asked a friend for it to do it though I doubt it will matter. I'm sorry either way I felt like doing it even if I don't get a grade for it.
People your age tend to not care about politics. You aren't alone, but it's important to have a little bit of an opinion, which you do have. So good. 100. But let's pray that many people will vote.

To start off, Clinton has very much experience when it comes to politics because of her husband being president. She's very smart and positive in her speeches and is really trying to change America. Unlike Donald, he's very rude and anything that comes out of his mouth can effect us in many ways. He is a very unprofessional human being that should not be giving the opportunity to run a country. Donald Trump is entertainment at it’s finest. He’s so focused on building a wall to block the immigrants from entering the United States that he’s forgotten about the more important issues that are going on in the U.S.
I’m not that fond of Hillary Clinton and what her views are on the issues that the U.S. is currently dealing with. I just feel as if Hillary would be more reliable when it comes to problem solving than Donald Trump. All in all it shall be interesting to see who becomes the next POTUS. Donald Trump just says a bunch of stupid stuff. He said he wanted to ban all muslims from entering the U.S, the first amendment says freedom of religion. He also wants to be build a wall around Mexico, and he wants mexico to pay for it. I wouldn't vote for neither of them.

ReplyDeleteI think Donald Trump would make a better president than Hillary. I'm not saying that Trump would make a good president, just that he wouldn't make a bad one. Hillary Clinton, however, is not trustworthy. She is also too trusting of other countries. She doesn't take matters seriously. Hillary wants to ban all firearm ownership in the U.S. which I think is ridiculous. First of all because it goes against our right to bear arms, and second the fact that she thinks she will get away with that proves her ignorance. Trump, on the other hand, promotes firearm ownership among the citizens. The safest country in the world is Sweden. The reason being, they require every citizen to carry a permitted firearm with them at all times (in public, of course). However, the U.S. is much larger than Sweden so that method is unrealistic, but the more the better. Although Trump has some good reasoning, his idea to build a wall between Mexico and the U.S is pretty ridiculous, but he has a good point. Immigration laws should be more heavily enforced. Hillary Clinton wants to spend less money on the military and instead use it to help other countries, but spending more money on the military is because of other countries, including the ones we help. Although I consider myself a republican I do believe that abortion should be a choice. I also believe that welfare should be a choice. I think that Obama requiring welfare is pretty ridiculous also. Which is another reason why Trump would make a better president. Most people think he's racist, but he's not. He's just aggressive; and in today's society aggressive is necessary.
FYI: Clinton has never said she is trying to take all the guns away. She does want stricter gun laws. 100

One of the many reasons I wouldn't vote for Trump is because he doesn't appreciate Hispanics and wants to send them back to where they left to have a better life for their families. Many Hispanics leave their birth country from violence and a better future for their kids and that's what he doesn't see. Not everyone is bad and wants to cause problem to this state they want to have a better life and yet we can't see that. I prefer Hillary but she needs to see how she will lead this state. I think she should be America's first female president for her ways of guiding and appreciation to others and appreciate how America's has changed and grown. Violence will never go away non matter what race, parents just need to learn how to raise their children for a better tomorrow.

In my opinion both candidates aren't good. Either Donald Trump is dumb and closed minded or Hillary Clinton a big liar and not really trusted by anyone. I think that Trump isn't going to be a good candidate because he is very closed minded and doesn't listen very well. He makes fun of women who are worthy of his time or make fun of them by the way they look. Plus do we really want a person who has gone bankrupt multiple times as our next president who's to say he won't do the same to the governments money. Why should we trust someone who has no knowledge or experience in politics. On the other hand, Hillary has been lying about the big chaos she did with the emails and taking time off for her medical problems. Even though she had that believe that she is more suited for the job. She has had more experience and we can really use a woman as the next president because mostly all the fights have been caused by men or men just ruin everything. All in all, I don't think that neither of the candidates are good this year.

Hillary shows how much she really cares about our citizens no matter what the race is. She's also familiar with being in the white house because of Bill Clinton. Therefore, she would have plenty of help and from what I hear, Bill was a really good president. I know a lot of people don't agree with a woman running the country but maybe it's time for a change. Donald seems to believe in too much separation. How are we supposed to be the "united states" if you won't even let people become citizens. Republicans can't even take him seriously. And his wife doesn't seem like she'd be a good first lady. Since she went and copied Michelle, it tells me that she has nothing to bring to the table. Donald Trump can say all day that he wants to make America great but, from what I hear and see, he has no action to really back that up.

You would think he would know since he's going to be the president and all. I do not enjoy his words or his presence. As for Hillary- I like her. She stands for what she believes in.
